Ice foot bath and/or diuretic pill?

Go to the store and Buy SMART WATER!!Drink that! That is what my Dr. Recommended for me! It has electrolytes in it to counteract swelling. PUT your feet up and do not eat anything salty.
Let me know if it helps! If it is BAD call the Dr.

water retention pills?- which you can't take while nursing.. I had this, and honestly time heals, sorry for the cliche'. THe others are totally spot on with the keep your legs UP! UP like it'll hurt so high "UP" -which won't happen...so back to the cliche'...
I went to the emergency room after my delivery with this- 4th baby- never had anything like it- my toes looked ready to launch off my feet! STAY OFF YOUR FEET. You friends' prescription ")

I had that bad during the end of my pregnancy and the ice baths in buckets before bed helped. I also wore medical hose on my legs and feet. Slept with pillows high at the end of my bed too.

Unfortunately, after baby the swelling didn't go away right away. It took awhile.
