Bald Spots in babies hair!

I don't remember if Darrin or Danyelle had bald spots as babies. I am sure they did as I am hearing from other moms that this is quite normal and not to worry, her hair will grow back.
I really hope so because I don't want my baby to end up with a reverse Donald Trump.

Question: Did your baby experience hair loss? If so, how long did it take to grow back? Are there any quick fixes for this?

  1. Girl you know about Ashleigh and her bald spot. When they start turning their heads all over the place, rubbing the back of the head on the bed, the car seat, the high chair, that's when the balding appears.
I blogged about it and was busting on Ashleigh that she had a comb over and she did. The same place was BALD! Luckily it grew back quickly. Well not quick enough for me, in about a couple months.
The only one who never had it was Christopher. His hair was just so thick it never fell out. Alyssa was the baldest of them all and she didn't get much hair until 12 months. hehehee
You leave Gracen alone "yuh hear!"

  2. Oh by the way, I was told that supposedly silk doesn't pull out the hair and that you should line whatever their head is resting on with a silk scarf or something. I can't vouch for it though.

  3. It's happening to T2 as well!!! She's suffering from cradle cap and whenever some skin falls off, a whole clump of hair falls of with it leaving bald spots all over her head! I hope it grows back! I've read that it does *praying*

  6. I wouldn't call it hair loss ... but always laying on their back rubs the head over and over in one spot ... alas, bald spot. Grows back when they start sitting up more.

  7. Well, not bald. It was close. Her baby hair shed all over except the top. In her pic at 11 months, all I could do was attach a bow. Folks got on my nerves saying why didn't I comb her hair. Then after one it started growing back. That is until she cut a chunk out at for with kiddie scissors.

  8. Jayla had the same problem. I think it has stopped now though. She lost her hair right along the spot your daughter is. I read somewhere it grows in phases like this and it will grow back.

The back of his head is finally looking decent at 19 months. Get her some satin/silk bedding and a bonnet. She's got lots of hair already compared to Boogie.
