Cute or Curt?


At one point does a kid saying something "cute" becomes out of line? For instance, I was packing up the car and start looking for an umbrella and DJ said, "let's worry about that later, let's go mommy" 

Really? If I said this to my mom growing up....(Needless to say I had to muffle my laughter)

He cracks me up all the time.

    Some of the things my 4 yr old says to me would not have went over well if I said them to my mother. He is so serious, I can't help but laugh.

    I think they're just at the age. Christopher does this too. Sometimes he goes overboard and I have to bring him back. I don't think the understands, at least in Christopher's case, that certain things are considered rude especially when it comes to mommy, or your parents in general.
