DJ has been talking about goldfish for quite some time now. Lemme tell you, I'm NOT a pet person at all. It's just not me. I don't like or want pets in my home.
Well, who knew a 19 and 2 year old would break me down?
Here's what happened today--
We pulled up to:
And I had to self talk my way into the store. You know, a store where people can bring their PETS to shop with them. Yes, you see this is going to be an exciting adventure.
It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. One lady in front of us had the cutest dog (ok did I say that) well, the dog was all dressed up (yes, weird) and it kept jumping up at the cart. The lady says, oh (buffy) LOVES kids. She's trying to say hi to your son. LOVE it! The dog speaks?
Well, we finally got home and situated. (translated into--Danyelle and DJ set up the fish, etc..) Hey, aren't you proud that I even went with them to get the fish!
Presenting DJ's new friend--"Pawlee"
You have to put the brooklyn accent on it when you say it. Well, that's the way DJ pronounces it. HaHa...

That's cute! At least they didn't name it fluffy!
We are getting a cat soon. I agree kids are never too young to have pets!!!

Hey I killed a fish by thinking it was too slimy and using a q-tip to give it a bath. Poor thing. And I was A LOT older than 2.
Of course that title caught my attention : )
Goldfish might be a good choice - easy to take care of, no housebreaking, cheap to feed.
