Little Girls Ear Piercings!

Question:  What age did you get your little GIRL'S/BOY'S ears  pierced? 

Gracen has been asking for the past week to get her ears pierced.  I told her we could go on Sunday, after church. 

Well, I thought she forgot all about the ear piercing event.  She remembered and wanted to go.  No worries.  Drove to the mall, picked out the earrings, $60 <--- OMG.  Ok, sticker shock.  Anyway , it was time for the moment of truth.  Prepped to get her ears pierced, then she chickened out.  Jumping in and out of the chair, wouldn't sit still for the prep work or anything. 

The piercing lady said she didn't feel comfy with Gracen's apprehension.  *sigh* ok, totally understandable.

Gracen kept jumping in and out of the chair.  Saying she wanted to, then she wanted to wait until she was a bigger girl.  

Yeah! That's doing way Too much. We will go and try again, Maybe next week!!  Hah! Maybe, Maybe not.

I am not going to hold her down and or force the topic.  She asked for the piercing and I guess the novelty and mesmerizing thoughts of it all, wore off.
