Date Night

My sweetie and I had our date night. I must tell you I knew immediately it was going to be a great night when we had an encounter with the most amazing sales person. We're walking up to the restaurant and this kid selling candy bars (who looked all of 12 maybe) says, Well, hello isn't this a fine young couple we have here! Yes, people flattery will get you EVERYWHERE. I couldn't resist, I had to give in. This is coming from a person who will CUSS out a telemarketer with the quickness.

After dinner, we mozie (is that a word?) on down to the movie theatre. The next show is at 10:40pm. Urrgh, despite the fact that we're a "fine young couple" any movie after 9pm is not a good thing. So, we decide to go to our, "we sure miss going to the club" spot.

The DJ was on point that's all I can tell you. The first song being played was:
Young MC-Bust a Move. Yes, people it was old school night at the spot and I thought I had died and gone on to meet all the fabulous old school rappers of all time.

From that point on, I found myself shouting ahhhhh dayum that's my song! (oh come on don't act like I'm the only one who does this)

Just in case you're wondering, the playlist was:
Fantastic Voyage-Coolio
It takes two-Rob Base and DJ E-Z Rock

Push it-Salt n Pepa
This is how we do it-Montell Jordan

Well...the list goes on and on and on but...as you can see, I'm still in Old School music mode.

Did we have a great evening? Of course we did and we ended it with an unsuspecting character of the evening. His moves were, ummm well....you just have to see this. I cannot make stuff like this up!

"Mosey" and yeah it's a word.

"Your best friend Harry has a brother Larry. In five days from now he's gonna marry..."

Sounds like you guys had a great time. Nice picture too.

My husband loves Rob Bas, absolutely loves "It Takes Two", and God forbid if a remix comes on, last time we liked to never found that hip he threw out of joint.

Hee hee hee! You just took me BACK!

Mick and I still quote Rob Base "I got an idea, That I wanna share
You don't like it? So what, I don't care!"

I have a lot of these songs somewhere.... Going to find them now. You gave a great idea for a mix CD. THANKS!

Eden beat me to it. It's a word and you used it correctly.

As in mosey over to the saloon and belly up to the bar.
