Paying it forward (Sea World part two)

Remember my story of our first trip to Sea World?

Well, we had so much fun, I wanted to come back for another visit. I went to the counter to turn in my free admission tickets for a fun card. Well, wouldn't you know, it would cost $54 to get a fun card pass. You would think that stopped me. Those who know me, know that I don't give up that easily.
I went outside the ticket booth and saw a couple 'fighting' not fist fighting it went more like this:

Him: Let's Go!
Her: Let's stay a little longer!
Him: Let's Go! We've been here all day!
Their THREE kids: Daddy!!!!! can we stay a little longer pppppleeease!!!
this is where I come in..
Me: Hi....I don't want to leave either, I'm having a great time but, my hunny wants to leave too!
Her: Laughing!
Me: I wanted to know if you guys are planning to use your entrance tickets, I want to change them in for a fun pass
Her: We have FOUR free tickets, you can HAVE them. We're from Sacramento, we're not coming back.
Needless to say, I turned them in to get FOUR free FUN passes. Why is this so exciting? Because now we can get in FREE for the rest of 2006. On top of that, the ticket clerk GAVE me FOUR meal tickets why? I would love to say it's because I'm cute and he was flirting with me but, the truth is, the clerk said his brother is in the army and he thanks my husband for the service to our country. Well, ain't that special...

Thank you to the family from Sacramento! Thank you to (the ticket clerk) and Thank you DJ for flirting with the Sacramento family to get those ticket! ---Way to go son!---

It was such an exciting meeting that I FORGOT to ask their names.
What was the NICEST thing a STRANGER has ever done for you?

I ran out of money on a train trip from Detroit to Albuquerque when my oldest two kids were little.

At the stopover in Chicago, I went into the Harvey's restaurant and ordered one tuna sandwich and a bottle of milk (for the baby). The waitress must have noticed how upset I was because she brought me and my older child each a full hot meal, filled the baby bottles, and took up a collection.

I was almost crying before, I was definitely crying after.

For me I cannot recall at the moment buy my husband just called and someone just did something really nice for him.

Well he was in Campo today in the middle of nowhere. He had already eaten both sandwiches and drank his 3 bottles of gatorade that I made for him. It is hot and he was hungry and parched.
He said some guy saw how much trouble he was in, his back went out on him too while he was taking apart his boom pump. The man came over with his 2 yr old son to talk with him. There aren't any lights there either so it was near impossible to fix the machinery. The guy left and came back with a bottle of water and a root beer, chatted a while and left. Came back without his son with 2 more bottles of water. Left again and came back with a sandwich and more water. He told my husband his wife just made it for him.
How sweet is that!

Hmmm, well... people in philly don't talk to other people they don't know,

BUT the band Blivit let Aaron play with them yesterday, so he -at three years old- officially became a rock star!

Atasha,
That was sooooooo sweet of that family to look out for your honey that way! See, I'm convinced there ARE still some NICE people in this world. By the way, my hunny threw his back out too. Guess our guys are getting old. Awwww...poor them.
