Tammy--you're DJ's adopted Granny so, of course, you'll always get pics of DJ. When it closer to the holidays I'll get your mailing address so you can get a family photo in the mail.

MelJoy--you're right. I found your blog through Koolbreeze (she is a riot) I was thinking we could meet at NY penn station. Once it's closer to August, I'll get your cellphone and we'll hook up. I would LOOOOVE for Aaron and DJ to meet. Two cute boys with cool hairstyles (my weakness)...;)

Hmmmm. I know I found you through RocRebel Granny. Probably a few months ago--I don't know exactly how long. I'd say since I'm still reading that I like what you're doing :)

Can't even remember how I found your blog, but I always remember that I like your smile, your attitude, your sense of humor. And DJ is freakin' cute!

I'd like to hear more about you, about your extended family (if applicable), your thoughts & opinions on, well, ANYTHING. And I like the pictures. LOVE the pictures.

I know that your hub is your high school sweetheart, and I know that your daughter is "technically" your step-daughter (I don't even like to use "step"), but I'd love to hear more about how your family became a family. Have you and your hub been together since high school? Did you reconnect somehow? Etc.

Great questions Andie D.

You'd like to know more about my extended family?
Answer: I have a mother. Her name is Jewell. She lives in Newark, NJ.
I have a brother, 23 years old. He lives in Newark, NJ with my mom, OH wait...he just moved out on his own. (He think he's grown you know how kids are) LOL
I had another brother his name was Aaron Delmar--who DROWNED his b.day would have been july 13th. he would have been 35.
I still have issues with swimming but, that's a story for another day.
My husband and I met in highschool, we had our daughter Danyelle (yes, he's her daddy too) when we were 17 (yikes) Most people THINK i'm the step mom or he's the step dad, but, we're her biological parents. I have a question for you. What made you think she was my step daughter? I'm curious to know.

1. How did you find my blog?

I think you found me. From Blogging Baby?
2. How long have you been visiting my blog?

Guessing? A couple of months.
3. What would you like to see MORE of on my blog?

It's your blog.
4. What would you like to see LESS of on my blog?

See #3 (I'm no help at all)

5. What would you like to know about me? OR my family?

Whatever you're comfortable in revealing. We've covered a lot already.

6. Please ask me any QUESTIONs in my comment box and feel free to answer any questions you see in my comment box too!

Remember our exhaustive discussion about hair? That was my question for the year.

Thinking about what's going with you and yours.

Hugs,

Ann

Granny! How true is that? You and I have talked so extensively, I'm sure there's nothing we don't know about each other. Well, there's that one time I got caught in a steamy car with the windows rolled up...Oh never mind.....LOL

Hi Tanyetta,

I found your blog when you first posted a comment on mine. I think before that you may have commented on my Flickr pictures - I think.

I come here because you're funny, and I like seeing the pictures of DJ.

I would like to know if you're family has lived in the area you do? We've always lived in Ky., but I know military families tend to travel around a lot. Where would your ideal place to settle be? I honestly can say Ky. is the ideal place for us. I cannot imagine driving to work every morning and not being surrounded by hillsides.

me again - as you can see I do NOT proofread. Good thing I don't work for George Bush. Anyway, the question should have been this - I would like to know if your family has always lived in the area you do.

Hi Tanyetta,

1. You left a comment on my blog so I followed you on over here. ;)
2. Probably almost a month now.
3/4. I like whatever you put on your blog - as someone else mentioned IT'S YOURS. However, more pics of that cutie DJ couldn't hurt. ;)
5. Please, I could ask a bunch of questions here but I have this thing about people being nosy *lol*

I am just glad to have found you. We have a great deal in common I believe. I'm still waiting on you to resend that email to me? ;)

HI Leigh,

Darrin and I grew up in Newark, NJ. All of our family are living on the East Coast. (NJ, NC, VA, NY) that's where the majority is.

Since we're a military family, we've lived all over and basically wherever we laid our hats were our homes! LOL

We've discussed STAYING in California. We'e discussed LIVING back on the East Coast. Darrin says he wants to live in TEXAS. I've NEVER been. I wonder if it's NICE there.

*Tanyetta* said...

K- We have a lot in common and yes, I will be sure to RE-write that email. I will prolly just have to call you though. It's easier! LOL

Hi!

I'm so sorry to hear about your brother!

I read back through three months of our posts (and a little bit more) and can't figure out why I thought you were a step-mom. Sorry about that. Really, I do hate the term "step". Maybe it's because I'm someone's step-kid.

Me and my dumb questions. Sorry.

How about this: Don't change a thing!

*Tanyetta* said...

Andie D- your questions weren't DUMB at all. I wrote about my feelings on the word 'STEP' children in one of my posts a while back. It really annoyed me when the woman referred to her son as her step son. I was floored! I couldn't understand why she would marry someone then not claim the kid that she feeds everyday to be her own. Whatever! I know we're beating a dead horse on that one. LOL

As far as my brother's death. It's a work in progress. It's still a sad sad situation. Thanks for the questions! Keep em coming!

Tanyetta- you haven't been to Texas YET but you will be coming to visit us once we move. I'll be rallying my troops to persuade you that Texas is most certainly where you guys want to settle down and raise Mr. DJ :)
