He's on his way!

He's off for the journey to Iraq! Oh my goodness, this is going to be a journey in itself. Keeping a toddler super busy!

All the while hoping he doesn't go beserk when he realizes his daddy won't be coming through the door at 6pm today. *sigh*

I love this guy!

Daddy and daughter! How cute.

I'm so sad and oh so proud of him all at the same time!

These photos were taken with my backup 2.0 MP camera --please don't laugh too hard at the grainy shots!
It's all I have right now and I wanted to snap some photos before he left.

Shameless begging: Sure would be nice if the camera fairy would drop off a shiny new digi cam at my front door ASAP ;)

Yes, you do need a new camera! ;-)

I think DJ will adjust quicker than you think. Not that he won't miss his daddy or that he'll forget him, but kids are way adaptable. My boys were 15 months and 3 when Andy went to the police academy for 5 months, and after about a week we had all fallen into a routine. It's hard, I know.

I am so grateful to your husband and others like him that serve their country so proudly and bravely. Thank him for all of us.

Hey girl! I'll definitely be in much prayer for you and the kids and especially for the return of your husband.

On a good note, my mom will be speaking at the Fallbrook Women's Connection on Friday, 9/15/06. I'm going to try to make arrangements for Gabriel to be picked up from kindergarten so me and Erianna can go.

Keep in touch in email. We'll have to do playgroup even if it's just an hour.

Luv yah, your sis in Christ, Annaliza

Holy Crap! Literally! Nah let me stop but the quality is a bit shabby. Hey it gave you a picture didn't it? I could see faces that's all that matters. Hey you have my number still I hope if you need to vent or cry or both or laugh whatever! Although I may be the one doing most of the crying with my little situation here. hehehe..

Ok the time will fly by and you'll be making "welcome home daddy" signs before you know it!

I am just so sad. Those pictures are so tender. I can't even imagien what you are feeling girl!

Oh as for cameras go for a Canon Powershot A620. I got mine for $229 at Best buy (I think?). We use it as a backup for our D70 and it rules! It takes great clips too.
