I have a new baby!--She is soooo cute.

Presenting my new Canon PowerShot A530 Digital Camera!!!!!!!!!!

I'm really excited. It's not the A620 (drool) or the Rebel (double drool) but, I'm still excited and a girl has to crawl before she can walk.

Right? :)

Now I have to study the entire manual! Do I really need to upload the software CD that came with the box? Tons of questions, I'm so excited and nervous.
Yeahhhhh!!!!!!! no more grainy photos or asking people to borrow their camera.

I just kissed and licked my new baby. I couldn't help it. She is toooo cute.

Neat. Waiting for the pictures.

I use the software that came with mine. It does everything for me automatically.

One of these days I'll expand my knowledge but I'm not there yet.

Yay! No more grains in the photos!

Yes i would use the software that came with it. They usually give a good editing program also. I forgot which one came with my Canon when I used it.

Forget about that manual and learn as you go....hehhehehe...Don't mind me. If you read yours I'll read mine!!!

Yay! Congratulations--that's a great camera.

I'd use the camera software, at least for downloading the photos. It makes life much easier in the long run. I'm speaking from experience, here...

omg! she isssss cute! You can def upload it unless you dont do any editing. I usually just plug the USB in and get the pics myself from the folders, but you can do the cd thing too. I also don't do any editing whatsoever. Everyone keeps telling me to use photoshop, and even though it looks cool, I feel like it will take away from some of the real-ness of my pix.

Blah blah, why are my comments so long this morning? wow.

I agree, ditch the manual. It's fun always discovering something new about your camera.

very cool camera! I'm still dealing with my antique 5.3 HP purchased in '05. I agree use the CD - ditch the manual. I don't even know where mine is!

Sounds nice. You should probably use the software with it. I used my software for the Kodak and the Canon.

Hi Ladies!!!!!!!!

Yes, I'm soooo excited. I downloaded the software but, realize that I'm not ready to get all techy yet. I'm going to stick with iPhoto. Oh and Picasa of course. Flickr cut me off. I'm at my 200 photo free account limit. Go Pro! I said No! I'm broke. What do they want from me ;)
