It's been a long time~~

Hi Everyone!

Just stopping in to say hello. I've been super busy this past week. I have tons of photos and tons of stories but, for now, I'll leave you with a re-cap of my life since I last posted.

*My friend's 7 year old daughter spent the weekend+1day with us (we had a blast) She asked if she could live here.
*I've been going to the gym in the mornings. Let's just say, I need to get rid of my double chin and love handles. It's ain't cute NO mo!
*I received a package in the mail today from Japan. I'll let you guess who it's from. :)
**I have tons more to tell you but, I need to go and take a nap. You know what 'they' say, nap when the kids are napping! How hard is that? Am I the only one who tries to enjoy a good nap while my son naps??

Stay Tuned!

In the meantime, please! answer this question for me:

How do YOU keep sane when you're so many things to so many people? Wife, Mother, Sister, Friend, etc....??????

I wish I had family around here, just me.
But I used to visit my sister a lot & than would be late for college classes etc. So than I just started visiting her & my family on the weekends. Dinner parties are always perfect too, end of the day so its hard for that to bump your schedule. Eat, visit, say goodbye & get your kids ready for bed?

You put one foot in front of the other and do the next thing on the list.

And never make a trip empty handed. If you're walking from one room to another there's bound to be something that needs to go there.

Yeah, I don't think I'm sane ;-)

No, really, just keep swimming (ever seen Finding Nemo?). That's all you can do.

I have been going and going and going since last Thursday without a break. I had an unexpected evening alone today and intended to catch up on laundry, dishes, ect... I sat down for just a second on the bed while I was folding laundry and slept for nearly 2 hours. The nap helped.

I steal naps too when my kids nap. Otherwise, I would not be able to keep up with them. Too much to do? I have yet to find the answer, let me know when you have the solution ;)

Glad you are keeping busy! You sound so happy!

I nap almost daily!

It is hard to be pulled in so many directions ... pace yourself!

It's very hard. I try to do it when/if the kids nap(Christopher's been skipping his nap for the past week) but I just have too many things to do?

How do you keep sane you ask, I always have liquor in the house and you know what, I'm going to take a drink right now! I'll take a shot for ya

Hmmmm, gym. That's probly where I SHOULD spend my mornings.
N e whoo, the secret to being sane is (and this is abominal to many mothers out there) stop what you're doing and do something fun. Let the family sift through a pile of new clothes on the floor in your room and just keep doing laudry after 7PM when it's 80% off my electricity bill. When I see my neat freak husband begin to get aggrivated or if i'm having a dinner party (like the jewelry Italian dinner tonight), then I engage in a deep cleaning for a good 4.5 hours. The dishes have to always stay clean because of those dumb ants. So at the end of the night, me n hubby throw 'em in the dishwasher (still utilizing the discount in electricity) and wake up in the morning to one load of clean laundry and an empty sink and all clean dishes. Sounds gross? Well, its not as you'll see tonight... after all, YOU ARE coming. And I DO hope that you bring some of these fabulous ladies that support you on this blog. That's wat inspired my own blog, but I'm not as friendly and amazing as you =P !! You're the greatest! Cyah tonight!

Baby Steps. Baby Steps all the way....with some deep breaths in between, a full 8 hours sleep once every 6 months, plenty of water and do not stay stationary (as much as possible).

Wow! I'm such a good advice giver! Unfortunately, I haven't done this yet so my perennial insanity continues....

I nap almost everyday when my little guy naps. Some of the best sleep a mom can get!

Not much advice on the many hats a woman has to wear. Sometimes I can't remember the roll I am suppose to be in at that moment. Just give yourself the grace you would give any other woman. I am sure you are terrific at the rolls you have been given.
