Babies and Fools!

I'm sure I'm the only NON perfect mom in the world and this will definitely qualify me for the CareLess Mommy Award so I'll just get my shout outs now:

I'd like to thank JC for all his blessings, ya'll know I wouldn't be here if it wasn't for my momma gramma uncle fred and cousin lisa. they been through it all with me. Yeah! One love! Peace, I'm out! ok, now that we have that out of the way I present to you the day my life flashed before me ONCE again.

It's a typical sunny day, I'm getting stuff out the back of my car, I hear a click noise, don't think much of it, close the back of my car and I SCREAM!

Yes, you guessed it. I LOCKED MY 2 YEAR OLD IN THE CAR! The keys are in his hand and he's having a field day pushing every button EXCEPT the OPEN key.

I have NO idea how I remained so calm but, I did. I kept pointing to the keys asking him to push the buttons and all I would get was HEeHee MOmmy Funny push buttons hee hee!

Well, at this point I'm trembling, The tears were welled up inside of me and I began to ShAKE!! Then, I start to Pray. I can't remember the exact prayer all I know-- it clicked in my brain to walk over to the passenger side with LESS buttons to push and I kept pointing down telling DJ to push the buttons, ok, he pushes the up, down buttons for the windows over and over.

I started Yelling, Push the button, Push the button!!! Then he finally presses the OPEN button SOFTLY, I SCREAM HARDER HARDER DJ!!! PRESS IT HARDER!!! Then before I could blink, he presses the OPEN button and the doors open, I grab him and start to WEEP! Uncontrollably.

On my way home, I called my friend Kelli and she said "DJ's a genius, why were you worried?" Only a true friend can make you laugh when you're having a rough time! I have to admit, it was the scariest moment ever. Well, that and the day he decided to run out in the street. Like the saying Goes, God watches over babies and fools! Somebody pray for me!

Oh my! At least it all turned out OK.

One time I was at the clinic where I had to have a chunk of glass removed from my palm, when I locked my keys and my cell in the car. Oh yeah, and I was by myself!!

shoot, girrrl, you haven't any idea. i also accidentally left my keys inside the car when putting on my toddler's seat belt and then (for some reason) closed the locked door and had to borrow a nice mans cellphone to call my sister to bring the spare key. after all that this dumb b&*#W had the audacity to yell at me. i realize i'm a "christian" but lemmie tell you, when i re-live this event... well, you know...
