My opinion-- (no hate mail please)
Sitting on Santa's lap is WRONG on so many levels.
I have yet to see a smiling kid hanging out with Santa! If you have one, please!!! share it. I'd LOVE to see it.

HA! It's so true. I have never seen any photos with a smiling kids on Santa's lap. However, your photo with that grown woman smiling is something else.
i saw one, at my son's preschool. the kid was proudly showing off the photo. don't own it though.
personally i think it is an evolutionary gift for kids to be scared of big fat strangers with beards. but that is me :)

Santa was hanging out at Walmart this weekend and my daughter was fascinated with other kids sitting on his lap but wanted no part of the guy herself. Did NOT want to sit on his lap.
we tlaked about that in our marriage and family sociology class, we teach kids to stay away form strangers, but it's okay to sit in santa's lap? puh.
DJ doesn't look real happy there : ) And then that Santa, well, he looks kinda young, like Santa Jr. maybe. I know we don't have any pictures of Cody smiling on Santa's lap.
