The squadron on base was so generous to invite the families of deployed service members to their annual holiday party. OMG it was so much fun. The best part was Santa and his elves arriving on a Huey! Well, talk about going all out for this special day.
The food was supplied by Chipotle and Dominos! You can't go wrong with Burritos and Pizza!
Endless desserts and drinks the best part it was all FREEEEEE!!!!!!!!!
Even though our spouses aren't here, I have to tell you, this squadron made us feel very comfortable and welcomed into their unit today.
I was in the food line balancing a toddler and trying to make my plate when a gentleman comes up and offers to make my plate, get my drinks and walk me to my table. OK!!!! that's what I'm talking about. His momma taught him manners. I like that.
Well, all in all, it was a very exciting day, DJ had a ball. He bounced and bounced all day in the bouncy house and down the slide. Needless to say by looking at the pics, he wasn't with me all day. His new found friend Casey took him for the entire time. It felt so nice to sit back and relax and chat with the ladies.
