and the list goes on!

NO, NO, NO

Please!!! tell me how you survived the AGE TWO syndrome in toddlerland.

Thanks.

Conversation between Ann and herself (in the crib) after a trying morning for her mommy some 65 or so years ago.

Ann talking to self:

Can you say yes?

No!

Giggle

Can you say yes?

No!!

Giggle

Can you say yes?

No!!!

Giggle

(Lather, rinse, repeat).

There is nothing new under the sun.

Joey has now worked out how to say "no" in two languages so I figure I am screwed! I am looking forward to reading the comments in the hope there will be some inspiration for me!!!

I guess I'm biased because he's my boy but that has got to be the cutest face I've ever seen. He looks just like his momma. DJ< I love you. Dadd

When Cody turned two this boy ba-roke me down more than once. I tell ya, I wasn't prepared for that. I was blind-sided. There's a difference between "broke" and "ba-roke". I think he finally pulled out of it when he was a little over three. I just kind of hung in there. Did I mention the herbal medicine - yes, this is the time I discovered St. John's Wart for myself.

Such a sweet face. It's so hard to believe that those sweet little faces can be such terrors. Hang in there.

Too cute. And quite typical, I think!

How did I handle it? I stopped asking so many yes or no questions. Instead of "Do you want to eat lunch now?" it was "Lunch now, or in 5 minutes?" or, "It's time for lunch. Now".

I don't ask yes or no questions.I will say "ok its bathtime" or "its time to eat" and if there is a "no" or a tantrum so be it.
