Why ask Why?
Why is that my son will clear his plate at preschool but, rarely eats anything I cook for him?
I was so proud of myself with the decorations in his oatmeal today. He just looked at it and said, I don't want happy face in my oatmeal. Is it possible for 2 year olds to wake up in a bad mood? My feelings are hurt. I need a hug.

If you ever find out why kids eat at school and not at home--PLEASE share the answer with me. And the oatmeal was very cute :-)
I remember when our son wouldn't eat his Teddy Bear pancakes. I actually cried. lol

I ask myself these questions every day. I'll try some new breakfast thing, or get some neat cereal, and they just don't care. They'd rather eat junk or hot dogs or something like that. It can be depressing.

Jonathan may have a point. I was going to say that some kids are resistant to anything new and the happy face was new.

Happy face in the oatmeal?! That makes my childhood seem bleak...you know what? When I go home today I'm gonna put a happy face on whatever I eat! Your kid's lucky, the happy face is awesome!
