He learned all these while NEVER taking his eyes off Bear in the Big Blue House (on TV)
Yes, my child watches TV.everyday.*sigh*

Question: Do you have any simple prayers/grace you've taught your toddlers?
I know we were supposed to teach him to pray from the womb, but, hey, we're slacking in the
PTL

department. HaHa.

SO CUTE!!!! He is so smart! I need to be working with my boys! His prayer was cute too and that is about how fast mine say Grace too- there is no head bow or closed eyes- we're working on that though. DJ's eyes are so big and beautiful!

Ok, don't feel bad that you didn't realize that Ang and I are sisters! Cyberspace is crazy and there are too many people to keep track of. DJ's prayer was so sweet. My kids pray fast too so they can get to the food! He's a smart little one with the days of the week and the months. Good work teaching mommy.

I feel so bad. I haven't even attempted to teach my son (L.J.) the days of the week and the months. I've got to get with it! You are doing a terrific job with D.J.!

In reference to teaching prayers, we are at the stage where he says, "Lord, thank you for . . . ." He opens his eyes and names everything on his plate and whatever he is drinking.

He is adorable. What a sweet little man. I love how he hasn't quite lost his sweet "between baby and big boy" voice. :)

We do the prayer that you did - God is great.... In the morning before breakfast we do this one:

Thank you for the world so sweet,
Thank you for the food we eat.
Thank you for the birds that sing,
Thank you God for everything.
Amen.

then the kids take turns saying a few things they are thankful for. It's usually silly things like "my boo bear, my sippy cup, my fan in my room". : ) I love it! I write down the really cute ones, when I can remember.
