You know the mere whisper of the word candy will make most kids stand to attention and a huge grin takes over.
The entire time, he was quiet. Concentrating and eating at least 5 pieces to the 1 piece that made it to the string.
I asked if he liked making candy necklaces and He kept saying, "this isn't candy, this is cereal!!" You know, having a smart kid has it's drawbacks. You can't fool them often! Hah!
He was so excited about his 'candy' necklace. He couldn't wait to eat the delish treat.
Until he realized I cut the string too short and he wasn't able to pull the necklace up to his mouth to eat it. I'm sorry DJ. We'll make another one!

Remember when candy necklaces was the thing! See now necklaces are just a thing to wear and because of all the fancy jewelry thats out there now and the jewelry cleaner, theres no room to be a kid again with candy necklaces and candy jewelry
