We live across from the high school Danyelle graduated from and DJ has a fascination with going to school. He always says: "I'm going to High School tomorrow." With a very serious look on his face. I had to explain to him the steps he's going to have to go through BEFORE he gets to High School. Well in the midst of it, his understanding of it all is, "Well, when I turn 5 then I'll go to High School right mommy?"
No, DJ. When you turn 5, you'll go to Kindergarten. We're going to start school with Kindergarten first, Ok?
He's thinking and thinking you can see his brains working and says, "I don't want to go to Kindergarten, I want to go to High School when I turn big."
Yes, when he turns big, he wants to go to High School. I love this kid.
You know I suspect we will have this conversation a few times more before the year is over. I've been looking into preschools for him to attend maybe a few times per week. I am completely floored on the cost of Preschools now a days. I remember Preschool being FREE when my daughter was younger.
Well, that was a LONG time ago and times have changed. I think being around other kids his age will be good for him. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE LOVE LOVE being home with my son. I just think we need a few hours away so we can run through the fields to each other after missing each other for the few hours he spends in Preschool. Now that's a thought!

He is too cute! Be thankful that he has found an interest. I used to wake up and read or write and we see how I turned out....lol!
