Mother and Child Breakfast event today!

DJ and I went to a Mother and Child Breakfast at North Coast Church today. Crafts, Food, Photos with Santa! Very very nice!
Here's Deb. She's the organizer of the Military Outreach Program. She and her husband always host the best events. Thank you Deb!

Here's Kasey. DJ pretty much hung out with her all day. He didn't really notice that I was sitting at the table all alone. He was too busy having fun with Kasey. She is the sweetest young lady ever. Love her.

Santa showed up! He's was the nicest Santa ever! FREE photos for all the families.

Here's Ethan. DJ's new friend. They just met today and hit it off quite well. They enjoyed running under the tables and eating cookies!

Here's Arabelle. She LOVES DJ. Every time he comes around and invades her space, she cries. I told him that's what girls do when they like you. You know just so he doesn't feel bad that she runs and hides anytime he gets close to her! HaHa. I love that girl.

Baby Kate had a great time. Can't you tell? Here's DJ trying to comfort her. He kept saying, please don't cry baby all the while he's rubbing her head! Awwww..at least he tried.

What a great group of people. Organizing this event for the military moms and kids. We met up with Daddy at the mall, ate lunch, had fun with the kiddie punching bag, and they rode the carousel together.

All in all, it was a good day! I'm tired. Momma needs a nap now!

Tanyetta, you are a wonderful momma. You are making memories that DJ will never forget. He has such a big brother nature about him. Love the head patting. LOL

Regarding your comment on Candy's blog, I wanted to encourage you to search the Scriptures yourself on this issue. You will find no instructions on what is a "Christian" cross, and what is not. Paul himself wrote in 1 Corinthians that he preaches "Christ crucified."

I see no Scriptural support for Candy's assertion that a Christian should not wear a crucifix, if that is their preference.

Thats so sweet. Its a great event as well. I often wonder how those (military" things funtions... I love how toddlers are so friendly. Its just inspiring you know unlike older kids/people....

In response to your post on my blog; I don't mind the mother thing. in fact i think its sweet of you. I think the term "You have your whole life ahead of you" seems to be positive, It lets your child know that its not the end of the world it encourage them to keep trying to achieve their dreams/goals etc...
