Finally! Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. (Part-2)

Remember this?

After 3 retakes, I decided to just let him have at it. Luckily he got it right on the 3rd try.
I honestly thought he was going to abandon the set. He's 3. It's not that serious I know.
The videos are for grandma. She says, he's perfect. That's her job right?

Here's a copy of his pledge badge. It's a pledge to live in harmony with his friends. I will remind him of this pledge especially when he hits a friend at play date.
Let's hope he doesn't say something like, hey, that's not my signature at the bottom of that pledge. I never AGREED to any of this peace stuff! *sigh*

He colored Dr. King's face purple with a blue ear.
I hope his teacher will think it's a masterpiece because I know it is.

If you listen closely the first few seconds, he starts to say Lightnin McQueen again.
Thank goodness he stopped himself.
I got tired of the retakes. And he was DONE with me after this video.

I want to know where you got all that stuff. I was trying to find something kid oriented about Dr. King on his day, but I struck out.

I'd love to have my kids sign a peace pledge. It would also be fun to see what color Dr. King's face would be at my house...red, orange, purple was good. :)
