There are 5 new posts. I haven't figured out how to make the newest ones pop up at the top. So, please scroll down to see the new ones too.
I've been told to stop working on that (pointing to my laptop) thing .
Interesting enough, this came from my 3 year old. Gasp!
I need to take a break. I need to get over the urge to just check my email, scan a few blogs, and look up only to realize an hour has gone by and my son is standing there waiting for "5 more minutes" until mommy gets off the computer.
I would never want to be the cause of my child going to counseling because he felt neglected and his mommy didn't play legos, build forts, and shoot 'em up (with fake guns of course) cowboys with him enough. Please tell me your secret on getting over your blogging addictions. I can't wait to read them when I get back. Oops, there I go again.
Have a great week!

You're supposed to get over the addiction? Hmmmm lol. Girl no clue...this stuff is like crack lol.
Cute color and cut!
Ok, I think that you have to just pick a few blogs and post on each one once a day. If not you will end up watchin posts and comments to keep a conversation going and end up spending ALOT of time online doing that, that is something that I can not do as I would be online all day waiting for the next response or rechecking blogs. I try to post at night or in the morning but on the weekends anything goes. ha ha
Now though my focus has to be on education as classes just started for my program and I have to make my assignments my priority.
It's amazing how fast the time flies when I'm reading blogs. I'm guilty of the same thing. I just get out of the house when I can or if I'm busy around the house, I tend not to think of it. Usually, though it's late at night. No wonder I have these bags under my eyes.
Hello! Thanks for commenting on my blog! It is so fun to find something new. But, of course, you must now realize that you have just forced me to add your cute blog to my list of daily reads. Shame on you! :) I struggle with hours on the computer every day and neglecting my children. So I have no advice. I hope they won't remember!
I haven't a clue! Just saying hi : )
I have the slightest idea! LOL
I wish I could help, lol! I'll probably be having the same problem! Hmm limit your blog reading until night, possibly?
Loving your fresh butters! You reminded me that I need new glasses! Ooo gotta go my cat's killing a mouse!
you can change the time that they pop up by clicking at post options at the bottom of the post.
This post is too funny, and oh so truthful. Many strategies come to mind, but shoot, I'm workin' it out.
This deserves its own post. Now why'd you do that! Look for it soon at my place. =)
I acutally just blogged about this...my children seeing the back of my head...all while I'm complaining about my son playing too much of his video game...I decided to take the log out of my eye before I addressed my son's splinter :-) It is a hard thing to do but we must show self control in order to teach our little ones...*sigh* but blogging is soooo much funner! LOL.
BTW..you are too funny..thanks for the comments about my baby boy...I keep going back to that post to see tham also ..HA!
I go through different phases of blog addiction. Most of the time I try to only do it at night once the kids are in bed. To help me do this I have to turn my computer completely off! Then it's too much of a hassle to turn it on anyway and I make a list through the day of the things I need to do on it that night. Good luck... it is hard to have self-control!!!
hey...
i'm with denae. i just turn the computer off. otherwise, i have the same problem. i waste HOURS. and i have a rule i can only read other blogs when no one else is home. but i do get to work on my own whenever i want. fair enough.
Hi Tanyetta!
So you are a Blog Addict huh? Isn't everyone!?
Actually I am trying to beef up my readership since I am so new to blogging which is hard because you have to spend time commenting on millions of blogs in order to get people to come to yours!
So I have a list that I go through every day, I go through them at work during my lunch hour and 2 hours when I get home from work.
I don't have young children so for me it is a little easier.
But I limit my time on each blog, and choose which ones get short nice comments so I can save time for the ones I know usually require longer indepth comments.
I think the key is discipline and schedule!
I am all ears ova here! you and me got the same dang problem!
Uhhh... sorry I can't help you. I read more than I blog I guess..... but I read them everyday a couple of times a day... at work, and late at night when he is in bed, sometimes whene he is awake but mostly after bed time, I am a night person if you are a morning person maybe you can do morning blog reading.
If I didn't know I was addicted to blogs before, I knew it for sure last night when I was checking out my brand new cell phone and realized I could blog and comment on blogs from my phone (my last phone did not have internet, I am not much of a techie, I didn't even text before!) I came right here to your site and tried to comment on this post just to tell you I was doing it from my phone! BUT I couldn't do it last night because I am not tech savvy at all, but now I CAN! This is bad!
