Hair in a box!

Hello Everyone,

Check out my hair bun. I like to call it my "phony pony" OR "hair in a box"

I've been contemplating what to do with my hair since it's at the in between stage. (perming it, braiding it) I just needed something to give my hair a break. This seems to do the trick.

I'm having fun with it. My husband hasn't said too much about it. He actually went with me to the store to buy it. Bless his heart. He's so patient. His silence tells me that he's waiting to see what I'm going to come up with next.

My daughter said she likes it. She reminded me to keep the edges smooth as to not set off the 'ohhhh!!! she got fake hair" radar.

DJ just keeps staring at me and almost freaked out when I pulled it off and put it in the box. Talk about scarring a kid for life with that one.

Needless to say, my family never underestimates what I will come up next when it comes to my hair!

Don't worry, it won't be too drastic.

It really looks nice.

I have the fashion police in my house too. I guess it's a good thing that our daughters haven't totally given up on us.

That is funny about scarring DJ for life! It looks pretty good and I am sure it beats the braids.

I love it and you look so much like DJ...well he looks so much like you, lol!

Greg patiently waited for me to pick out a box of hair color yesterday. I told him to shut up and let me decide, the less he whines the quicker I can chose. I put it in last night and he asked me if I needed help, awwww.

One of our birthmoms had a full on wig- when Pete walked in the hospital room it was laying there on the bed... he thought it was some kind of dead animal at first- we all had a good laugh!

I actually like it. Chile I'm the queen of fake hair. LOL. I wouldn't have known that it was a fake pony tail had you not said anything. Watch out tho, those things can be addicting. You may look up on day and have as many pony's as you have underwear. *chuckle*

I've never bought a phony pony before but I'm thinking of buying a long, nappy one so I can wear my low ponytail at least until my real hair gets there.

Lmao s scaring the kid with the fake pony!

I love it! I have one of those, actually I have a couple of those. My hair is an accessory kind of like earrings. I normally wear a 'fro, but I will think nothing of pressing it and adding a piece, or braiding it, or twisting it. Thank God for the flexibility of our hair!
