After Tiny Tots, my son LOVES to go and see the big boys play basketball.
The Instructor really likes my son and even gave him a basketball the last time we stopped by.
He told DJ once he turns 5, he can come and play with the big boys. There's a little league basketball team and he would fit right in.
Every time we go to the gym, the instructor always plays pass with my son. I decided to bring my camera along this time just to catch a few shots.
Needless to say, DJ reminds me all the time, 'when I turn 5, i can play basketball with the big kids'
I really hope what the instructor told my son was in fact the truth. When my son turns 5, you better believe, I will be there Johnny on the spot to sign him up.
Wouldn't it be a trip if the guy was just telling my son that to hype him up? My son has an extraordinary memory. I can see him now, blowing out the candles at his 5 year old birthday party talking about how he can't wait to go and play on the team with the big kids.
I think the next time we go to the gym, I'll inquire what days the leagues meet, just so my son can get a peek in on the games. Oh who am I kidding, you know I just want to call this man's bluff. For his sake, there better be a little league team and there better be some 5 year olds running around after a ball that's 500 times larger than they are! Hah!

It's sounds true!
lol can't wait!
YMCA starts out at 3-4 years old. This is information I have conveniently "forgotten" to share with my son. If I can go just one more year with just only one kid in sports, I will be a happy mama.
