My son has a job. He has a few jobs but, this is one he LOVES to do and is so proud of himself.
Here's an article that will help you with starting your toddlers with helping around the house. You would be surprised at how excited they are to help.
DJ LOVES to help. He really does. Just today he asked if he could do his "job" I'm waiting for the teenage years. Let's see how excited he will be to help.
Here's a few of his 'jobs'---
Pulling his bed sheets up to the pillow (that's his version of making his bed)
Pouring water in the cups for meals
Returning toys to the storage box
Lining the shoes up by the front door
Folding wash cloths and smaller pieces of clothing (laundry)
Putting up silverware (dishes)
Feather duster the TV screens (I use a damp cloth to get the finger prints off but, he won't touch it because there's poison on the cloth) He is deathly afraid of touching anything that I've sprayed with Windex. He calls it POISON and will snatch his hand back! He is so funny.
Spray off dishes while mommy washes dishes (this is a mess and turns into him turning the sprayer on me) *sigh*
These are just a few examples you can use to get your toddlers to help around the house.
Please add your tips on jobs toddlers can help around the house with. Thanks!

Jaden picks up dog poop.
hehe
he also does most of what you've written, they are great for lil guys that want to help, but...
he helps get clothes out of the dryer for me.
he dusts with the feather duster (yes, I do it again when he's not looking).
he moves the chairs out of the kitchen when I mop, and then puts them back when I'm done.
he carries his folded laundry upstairs to his room.
hmm, now you have me thinking...
My 4 year old DD LOVES to help. Sometimes too much though. She loves to cook and clean, unless we ask her to.
When cleaning up my son like to empty the garbage cans in every room, he also like to vacuum so I let him vacuum his room last and wash his cups that he drinks out of every now and then
thanks for the tips. Gavin needs some jobs too! He puts up his toys but I may use some of these others. Especially since he likes being "a good helper"
