Noah's Ark and the Promise.--Toddler Style.

We attended our very first bible based play date today. It was a HIT!
The kids learned the story of Noah's Ark.

His interest was locked on the story teller.

Notice his Animal Crackers (representing the animals in the ark)
and
The Skittles representing the colors of the rainbow

Here's the rainbow. Signifying God's promise. This very simple craft using a plate and streamers. The kids loved it.

Notice how focused my son is on the story? I think he blinked once.

On the way home, my son told me of the story he learned.
He said Noah promised God that he wouldn't make it rain anymore with the Rainbow.
See, he was paying attention even if he got the story a little mixed up.

Thank you again Melissa. We had a great time. Looking forward to the next Bible based play date.

Here's a video of me trying to get his explanation of what he learned today.
