MAJOR Downsize of not having HOA (Homeowner Associations)

This HUGE eye sore greets the neighborhood every morning on the way to school. They can't possibly be serious. This crap sits out in front of their house like it's cool. Ugh.

I am adding this photo to show how NARROW the streets are in our housing development.  Not only does this create an eye sore it creates a blind spot because you can't see if another car is approaching.  What could this piece of trash be used for anyway?

  2. I'm sorry you have to deal with that but I HATE HOAs and am so very glad we don't have one.

  3. BTW, check town ordinances and see if there are any restrictions against this. It may be considered a danger because of the exposed engine.

  4. wow...how lovely! Don't you just wonder where the concept of "pride of ownership" has gone?? I'm on the board at our HOA and I'm soooo very glad to have it in place because some folks can just be plain nasty if left to their own devices. Don't let me catch them slipping because I'll have a violation in their mailbox on the quickness!

  5. Okay, you moved to Kentucky didn't you? You're not really in Florida. Tell the truth : )

My neighor keeps is tractor parked out front sometimes. We all get a kick out of it, and sometimes I take Dakota down the street just to look at the big tires.

  7. LOL----You know I'm really trying to get used to half of the stuff I've been seeing around town. I can't make this stuff up.

  8. Looks as if someone participates in a car derby or something to that nature.

But I would post notes on it every chance I got to make it known that it needed to be moved.

  9. We like anything car related here. So giving them the benefit of the doubt, your neighbors are into demolition derbies. Maybe it's seasonal recreation.

I like HOAs, but they do have a downside with too many restrictions.

  11. Whoa. Guess my $62.50 is worth it. It looks like a demolition derby car? That would be my guess. There are still city ordinances and you could complain. It certainly is an eyesore and they will likely be told to garage it or put it in their backyard out of street view.

  12. I am very happy to report the CRAP is gone. Maybe it was crap car riding season after all and they put it away for next year? Ugh.
