Please don't call me. Send Text or Email.

I am sure Francine will have something to say about this but, here goes anyway. I am not trying to be rude when I don't answer the phone.

It's just that when my 5 year sees me on the phone, he thinks that's when he's supposed to give his academy award winning presentation in the form of acting a donkey.

So for the sanity of us all, Please send an email or text or if you must call, please leave a Voice Mail.

Thanks.

Question:  Am I the only one?

I thought I was the only one. It never fails, before I can even get hello out of my mouth when answering the phone my kid starts acting like he's has been locked up in a straight jacket for months.

He also has a problem of hollering who is that Mama? over and over again till I yell to shut up or get out of my business.

SOME kids(because I know there are some perfect parents out there with perfect kids that would never do this) *rolls my eyes* think this is the perfect time to show out. Then you sound like the crazy mother when you ask the person to hold on while you growl and fuss your kid out. Sigh. Yeah, just send me a text.

No...you are not!!!! I stopped answering my phone a few years ago. My close friends (even my mom) know to text or email me if you want to reach me otherwise, leave a message at your own risk:)

We went through this stage for about a year. Why my child had to ask 6 million questions at the time I was on the phone, and then he had to know who I was talking to. And then he had to whisper nothing about nothing. He finally learned to not try to talk to me when I was talking but it took a while to get there.

Answer: No, you are NOT the only one. Although I am glad to know that I am not alone, I feel for ya because I live it. EVERY DAY!!! Gabriel does the exact same thing. When I call the doctor's office or anyone that I'm doing "business" with, I have to lock myself in a room just to get away from him. It's horrible! I thought it was going to end soon... guess I was wrong.
