Mirror, Mirror on the wall.

I just read a really great blog post HERE.

The basis of the post was to ask the question if you think a spouse is a reflection of the other spouse!

Quote from the site: He was dressed like a partner in a law firm or as if he had majority ownership of some sports team. His wife? She was as homely as a pound puppy

***His wife? She was as homely as a pound puppy.***  WOW!    That's Pretty Sad!

I had to sit back and think about how things are with my husband and I when it comes to the reflection of dress when we go out in public.

We have basic tastes when it comes to dressing.  As long as we are neat and clean when we go out, we're good.  When it's a formal affair, we always double check with the other on what we're going to wear, even down to the kids.

For instance, when we go out to dinner, the entire family dresses a little bit better than attire for a day at the park.  The boys in collar shirts and the girls in a nice top and pants or a cute dress.

NO FLIP FLOPS or ATHLETIC gear out to dinner.    Have a little pride and class :)  Funny Post!

Very insightful and food for thought!

This brings up a great point.  My husband was going to a community town hall meeting and was going to just wear jeans a tshirt.  I stopped him at the door and suggested he wear a polo, jeans and loafers.

You know, just in case the camera man panned over to his direction.  Turns out my suggestion was a good one!  Wink, Wink, That's why you married me sweetie.  I got your back :)
