While driving to the market, I heard a radio station announcer tell the story of how his family and friends were INVITED to their Thanksgiving dinner and one of the family members OFFERED to give money to help buy the food. UMMMM excuse me, I would NOT accept money (even if they offered) for the simple fact, if they're going to be visitors and family members to your home for the holidays, just make EXTRA food and be done with it. IF they insist on offering money, I would ask that they bring desserts or something but, NEVER money! Come on now, CHARGING for dinner guests to your home? REALLY? I called into the radio station but, I received a busy signal I guess that was my sign to just let it go. LOL!
Sidenote: It's a CHRISTIAN radio station. I can't make this up. *sigh*
