Question from a very concerned mom! Please, post your answers. Thank You! **My oldest daughter keeps getting into trouble in class and NOTHING I do or threaten is working on getting her to straighten up. Her teacher today moved her desk apart from all others so she can't be a Chatty Cathy ALL day long but even during group projects she is getting into trouble and not finishing her work. Can anyone please give me advice on what I can do?? I am to the point of going to school and holding her hand ALL day.**

Honestly that might be a good idea. Not necessarily holding her hand but just being in the classroom. It might be just enough to embarrass her and make her behave in school. A parents presence in the classroom and knowing that you would come back and do it again might be just the right amount of embarrassment she needs.

Just an idea though. :)

Try homeschooling. Some kids just don't do well in traditional school but flourish in a homeschool environment. Talk to her about it; she may be having problems with the size of the class, the level of the work, etc. These are things that you can adjust in a homeschool environment rather easily.. If it doesn't work, send her back in September.
