While this is a great milestone to witness, there are also times when I begin to think back to when he was a baby learning to walk and talk. He's such a sweet boy growing into a young man and I am truly proud of his independent curiosity!
Hard to believe he's in 1st grade and winding down the school year, preparing for the next academic journey! For now, I will just stand back a little and observe the morphing process from boys to one day soon becoming a man!

Wow! First grade!! I remember when he was just a tot. The scooter reminds of the the independence one feels after they get their driving license. Very cool!

Too cute! It is amazing how they learn so much and it is important to do like you are doing and take it all in. Still can't believe that he is going to the second grade! Seems like a few months ago he was turning 3!
