I came across a question posted on FB the other day. "Why are mothers expected to do it all" and I wondered if this was truly how I felt as a Mother. I don't think it's expected of mothers to do it all. The biggest lesson I have learned on this mother and wife journey, it's OK to share the responsibilities of the house and taking care of the kids! I am not super woman, therefore other people in the house can help out as well. A lot of times, men are cornered into feeling that they are inadequate and not really needed to help around the house and that may be why they just retreat and find a hole to sit in. A nice whiteboard and a list of what's expected and needed to carry out a lot of things would be helpful and to avoid conflict! It won't end it but, a lot of times moms get so busy and used to doing it all without realizing the word DELEGATE is a wonderful skill to utilize :). Question: Do you feel this way? Explain. *****Why is it expected of the mothers to do everything

I am one of those mothers that is a bit of a control freak. I enjoy doing it all. I get offended if I see my husband try to iron his own shirt or wash a dish. I guess I am just very old fashioned and feel like my place is to take care of the household. I do have the family help out on certain things but overall, I do it all.
