Last year, one of his classmates told my son, he couldn't be his friend because he's BLACK! <<<----0_o a="a" are="are" beliefs.="beliefs." boy="boy" but="but" children="children" day="day" go="go" h="h" handled="handled" hearing="hearing" here="here" i="i" it="it" mess="mess" nbsp="nbsp" p="p" same="same" t="t" the="the" these="these" was="was" we="we" where="where" wonder="wonder">
You know I don't mess around! My first response, I asked my son what did he say when the boy told him that and he said, I told him that's not a good reason not to be my friend and I went and told the Teacher! GOOD JOB DJ!
I surely, wasn't going to sit back and allow this go on. Thankfully the Teacher was already aware of it and she handled it with an in-school conference with the Principal the next day.
Question: Has this ever happened to your children? How did you or How would YOU have handled it?
