I started screaming his name in the store asking customers to help me find my son, I asked the manager to stay by the front door type of panic.
All the while, my sweet son, was hiding in the business center waiting area. Giggling up a storm. He comes running up, saying, Booooo! What?!
So, from now on, both kids must ride in the carts. I can deal with the stares but, not the grief of losing my child to a tragedy.
The manager was upset as well. It was an awful feeling. Just, awful. DJ on the other hand thought it was the funniest joke to play! Funny? HaHa? No.
So, if course I explained the seriousness once we got in the car. He said he just wanted to play a trick on me to make me laugh.
Please, tell me what the "back in the day" moms would have done to this child. *sigh*. My heart stopped beating and all awful thoughts entered into my mind.
Look at his sweet and innocent face. I would die if anything ever happened to him. No parent should ever experience the panic attack I had yesterday. *sigh*

I would have been devastated as you were! I do believe that parent from "back in the day" would have showed up. No shame from me or my husband! Just glad you found him and he is fine. My heart is pounding now! Whew!!
