Sandra Boyton has written a really cute board book: Pajama Time
Your kids will LOVE this cute cute cute book!

Mini Description:
A hippo in yellow PJs and an elephant in a fuzzy one-piece with feet. In sing-along nuttiness reminiscent of Barnyard Dance, it's time to head to bed-to the beat: Pajammy to the left. Pajammy to the right. Jamma jamma jamma jamma P!J! Everybody's wearing them for dancing tonight. Jamma jamma jamma jamma P!J!

I have an extra copy and would like to give it to a lucky winner!
Drawing will be held, Friday, July 27.

My son loves to gives hugs and kisses. He will go around the house offering hugs and kisses to everyone just to keep from going to bed.

Needless to say, we greatly enjoy all the love and it's everyone's responsible for leading him back to his bedroom only to be offered yet one more kiss before lights out!

It's really easy to enter: Please leave a comment with your funniest excuse your kids have given you to avoid going to sleep. Also, please leave your state, I'd love to know where people are from! Good Luck!

It's not "funny" but after we pray for our DD, she will come in our room and say "Oh, I didn't get to pray for you!" She just wants to put off going to bed but we appreciate it!

Awww great prize! Thanks for the giveaway!

I'm pregnant with my first, but I did babysit for a boy last week who told me in all earnestness that his friend Caleb had told him not to go to bed yet. :)

My boys adore this book and our copy is quite tattered, we could use a new copy.

Shelliza said...

Thankfully we don't have bedtime battle, mainly because he's usually exhausted. However, Connor says goodnight to EVERYTHING and EVERYONE he can think of (shapes, animal, characters, ralatives and friends). Then once I'm ready to put him down, he gives me a kiss for each of his grandparents so I can pass it on to them. I have to say that after a long, tiresome day, it's very rewarding to get 6 good night kisses. Count us in. We love a good book.

Fabulous idea. Please count me in.

My son, now 18, woke one night and went to the bathroom, came out screaming and told me that he couldn't go back to bed because he was afraid the cat in the bathtub would get in his room.???? We had no animals, I'm allergic. So off I went to check out the bathtub with him.

Nothing there.

He finally went back to bed and about an hour later I headed to bed. Come to find out, the "cat" he had seen was actually a possum and it was laying on the floor at the end of my bed.
Getting the thing out of the house is a long, complicated, crazy story that I'll have to share on my blog sometime.

We love Sandra Boynton! The kids really like her Philadelphia Chickens music CD. And Pajama Time is on it. The best excuse we get is almost nightly. Our 2year 7 mon. son gets up and tells us he's poopy. We call him the bedtime pooper. It's kinda funny and almost predictable. Count us in!

Looks like a really cute book - I'd love to be entered for this!

My 13 yr old, honestly, has always gone to bed without any trouble, so never really used excuses. Though sometimes, he has to go get a drink of water or use the bathroom one more time! My 2.5 yr. old has only recently started sleeping in her own bed, and she hasn't started any excuses - yet. I'd love to have this book to read to her though! I'm in GA.
