My very first post--Inspiration and a giveaway!

I remember when I first started blogging, I had NO IDEA what I was getting myself into.

I've been blogging for almost 3 years and I love it. It's been my saving grace when we moved to this town, my husband was deployed and I had no friends and a new baby on the way. OH MY GOODNESS. What a journey it's been.

I've met some great online friends along the way and knocking on wood, NO DRAMA. Well, you know I get the random rude comment every now and then but, for the most part, everyone has been very supportive and encouraging.

I'm sure there's tons of things I have to learn about blogging (making money while blogging) but, for the most part, I just enjoy it for an avenue to journal my daily activities with my family.
