Hello Everyone,
DJ here!
My mommy has been mentioning this word BOUNDARY. Whenever I try to run down the driveway into the street, my mom STEPS in and blocks my way and steers me in another safe direction. BOUNDARY! Then on occasion I LOVE to press all the buttons on the dishwasher, the fridge, the TV (oh how much I love the TV buttons!!) Next thing I know, she's there steering me in the direction of something uninteresting (my tox box, my playpen-GASP!!!!!) BOUNDARY! Ok, you see where I'm going with this right?
I want to get into any and everything that I'm not supposed to and my mommy is always there to make sure I don't get into anything unsafe. I know many moms out there reading this are chuckling to themselves and are nodding their heads in agreement.
Well, this is where I feel BOUNDARIES should be placed on parents.
Here's a picture that says it all.
You see? Now, if I'm not mistaken this is a playground for KIDS! What are my parent's doing?
Now, is it my responsibility to tell them that they are NOT supposed to be up there?

When every bone in daddy's body aches tomorrow morning, he'll probably figure the boundaries out for himself.
Funny story.
hehehe those pictures are sooo cute!
chelle
HA! If I did any of that I would probably break something. Or at least be pretty sore the next day.
Oh and Babies R Us sells the most awesome TV guard so they can't push the buttons. Although Gavin has figured out a few ways around it so we have to keep adjusting it. But you may want to look into it. It will save your sanity!
LOL what cute pictures. I hope the parents had fun at the playground.
You go girl! Why the hell not have a little fun? That's part of the reason to HAVE kids! So that you can do all of those things that you honestly want to do without looking like a complete idiot. Right on!
Uh oh...mummy's at it again! Haha...I know just what you mean. I just screamt at mine earlier and telling him to watch where he's touching. In return, I earn a little pout from him.
Btw, you have a very interesting profile! An 18-year-old daughter and a little tot! Is it difficult to start all over again after years of getting comfortable? For me, the thought of having another kiddo is a little daunting even though mine is only 3!
i agree DJ
our parents should never be seen doing this--or at least when we're not around.
Hilarious. It looks like tons of fun though.
So when do you think you and I can work our way up to 6,000 hits?
5,987 to go.
LOL.
Great pictures!
I often "play" with my kids too, I have YET to break the slide but I'm working on it.
Adorable! Thanks for the smile today!
The FUNNIEST thing about this post is that I recognize your park!! My friend, Vi, and I go there all the time with our girls! Ahhh! What a small world!
I'm sure we'll see you there. ;)
Hi DJ:
Mommies and Daddies have to play at the playground sometimes. It's called "Keeping their sanity"!
DJ,
thank you for making sure Mommy and Daddy get plenty of exercise- you know how playground time tires them out for good naps so great job!
Pixar movies and playgrounds are the only reasons to have children!
don't say a word.. let them have fun..i hope to do that when i get older...(i'm still a big kid)
Cute Post, I'm LOL right now. Have a Great Weekend.
