DJ and I went to lunch yesterday and I have to say, he does NOT sit still in restaurants.
Here he is getting it started..I should have videotaped it for the sound effects.
Thank goodness the food arrived just in time!--He was quiet as a church mouse! LOL
So tell me, how are your kids at restaurants? Do you have any tips on dining with a toddler?

I feed them from my plate usually when they're that little and just keep shoveling it in.
Bring a coloring book or something to keep him busy (or even a small snack from home - you don't really care how much he eats or doesn't eat in a restaurant) and never let him get started racing around. It will be too hard to stop.
He doesn't seem to be the meltdown type but if he ever does, it usually means he's had enough and it's time to grab a doggie bag and go.
lmbo I thought that was a corn cob he was nawing on till I looked closer...just grin and bear it in the restaurants...lol!!
:-D
I usually go to a restaurant after Jack has napped, or when I know he is ready to eat dinner. That way, I know he'll sit and eat his food, because he's ready. And if he does start to act up, it's time to leave. We've had to get our stuff to go only once after we ordered it for sit down. We save the really nice restaurants for date nights.
My only advice is switch things that he has often. Every 45 seconds if you have to. This is what I do with chubbs. Most of the time it works. Then again maybe it just hasn't gotten hard yet???
