Pets

DSCN7147.JPG, originally uploaded by tanyetta.

I'm not a pet lover. Now don't get me wrong, I would not kick your dog or cat but, please! don't expect me to like them.

Dog lovers: Oh Lucifer? He doesn't bite. Come on in!

Cat lovers: Oh, Prissy? She's my cat and she is too cute for words. Come on in!

No thanks, I forgot to take my benadryl---NO THANK YOU!

With that said, My son has a fascination with Pets. He STARES at this book and calls out the names of the animals. It's rather cute to hear him say, "Dog-woof woof," "Cat-meow," "Frog-Wibbit"---then......"Turtle"-and he pauses~he never says any sounds for turtle.

By the way do they make any noises? Maybe we can get a turtle? Hmm...NOOOO!

Now you've got me thinking. We had some turtles once until our dog chewed them up and killed them. Long time ago. Well if the turtle closes it's mouth really fast while being partially submerged in water, you'll hear something. Ha, well you asked!!! :-)

Guess if it is a snapping turtle it makes a sound.

We have that book! The boys adored it when they were younger--about his age, I think. We also have one like it that's about trucks.

I've never heard a turtle make a sound. And for what it's worth, while I know that they CAN make sounds, our hamster hasn't made one yet and we've had him for 8 months...

I have the same feelings as you about pets...I would never hurt an animal but am not overly fond of them! To me they are more trouble and expence than they are worth!
Pictures of DJ always make me smile :-D

hehe those books on animals are awesome, however very tempting for the little ones to think they need a pet!!
So sad you have allergies! Becca adores her cat!

A cat was looking up at your doggie pics and meowing just now.

Cute.

I wouldn't have a dog where we live now. No space to run or play and they need a lot more exercise than cats who spend much their life sleeping (when they're not annoying me).

Hi Ladies~!!!

Danyelle bought DJ this book from the best place on earth. Turns out she's been scoring in the best present category lately.

As far as pets are concerned. Don't worry, if you invite me over, promise to put up Koo-Joe please?????????

LOL

My son loves pets as well... as long as they stay their distances. He is scared of big dogs upclose unless its friendly and doesnt bark. He was also recently scared by a hampster! hahahaha.

We have stray kittens we are trying to tame... oh my gosh are they mean! They will make you hate cats lol. But they are adorable.

lmao, that's sooo cute! if Aaron thinks an animal doesn't make a sounds, he will make one up. Apperently an ant makes a very high picthed "Ant! Ant! Ant!" screech :-)

I love pets, I just don't want any in my house. My feeling is until every person in my house is actually potty trained I have no intention of inviting more wastes for me to have to clean up. Poor EBaby loves looking at pets but freaks out if they get anywhere within 3 feet of him.
