DJ and I went to a concert in the park last night.
Even though it was way past his bedtime, it was worth it.
He had so much fun and as you can see from the photos,
He makes friends rather quickly!
He made an instant Granny too.
She couldn't resist DJ. She saw him standing up there by the stage and asked if she could go and dance with him. It was the cutest thing ever. So glad I caught in on film.

Joey Fiato (the guy singing) even had DJ on 'stage' while he sang.

Joey was very energetic, had an incredible voice and wooed the crowd with all the great classics. I was a little disappointed to see such a small crowd. Not that anyone complained it's just that I sure wish more people were there to experience this amazing performer! Most of all the concert was FREE!
If he ever comes to town, I'll be sure to tell all my friends to check him out. They will NOT be disappointed. Lemme tell you, It was a perfect evening, the weather cooperated, the kids all had an amazing time too! Joey welcomed all the kids up front to dance and interact with each other on stage. He is a total sweetheart of a performer.
Overall it was the best way to end the concert series in our beautiful city. If you missed the concert, let's just say you missed an amazing time! There's always next year! Mark your calendars!
Look at DJ! The star of the show! The best part of the entire concert was, Joey ended the evening thanking all the Troops!----How cool is that!
