Perfect weather to fly a kite

After each week of Parent 'n' Me Preschool, I try to incorporate what we've learned. The crafts were kites and hot air balloons. As you can see, my son's craft is PERFECT!! :)

We try to fly his actual kite everyday or when the weather permits. Here we are in front of the house trying to figure out how to get the kite up in the air and of course snap a photo at the same time.

What are you doing sitting there? Go out and fly a kite! The weather's perfect!
Have a great weekend!

Kites are on sale at Walmart for $1.00 all characters (Dora, Super and Spiderman, Elmo) Sorry, I am tired of Elmo. Ok that wasn't nice. But, it's true! Hah!

My friend's kite (she doesn't read this blog so I can bag on her expensive kite) would NOT go up to save the world. HaHa...I told her not to buy that expensive kite. Stick with us broke chicks and buy the $1.00 kite. Maybe she'll listen to me next time. Ok, maybe I should erase this, my luck she'll come across my blog and read this! HaHa...

It definitely was windy for kite flying in our part of California. And we actually saw many beautiful and colorful kites on Mission Bay. It's just so relaxing to watch.

Ok you must have added that last part with Walmart because I swear I thought i read this entry in it's entirety. Yes...you added it didn't you.

1 month ago, some people had a pricey kite, it looked like a real airplane, with propellor and all and it would not fly for the life of them. Must have made them feel stupid. $1.00 is my perfect price even cheaper than what it would cost to make it myself but I am still going to buy some stuff and make it just for the sake of crafts.
