Statue of Liberty and Ice Cream Cones
DJ saw a statue of liberty at the furniture store a few weeks ago.
He was so scared. Then of course Darrin pointed to the Buddah in the corner with the food and set up. I am not going to say anything about that at all. Needless to say we went to about 4 stores and each store had a set up so, I'm just going to be quiet about that.
Moving on.......
DJ: I didn't like that sta-choo!
Me: Why? That was the statue of liberty. She lives in NY on the water.
DJ: She had the ice cream cone and a book.
Me: An Ice Cream Cone?
DJ: She had the ice cream cone holding it up and a book in the other hand
Me: (thinking to myself is it worth it to be right this time??)--You're right, she was holding an ice cream cone and a book.
Well, if you look at the photo, from his point of view, he's right! HaHa
I'm telling you, this kid is too funny!

Well, you ain't raisin' no dummy, the boy is smart, she does look like she's holding and ice cream cone...lol
Too cute!! Kids do say the darndest thing. Gotta love them!
THATS PRETTY FUNNY
I am the same as you... sometimes it is just easier to let them go on believing what they believe than try to tell them the truth. That is SO CUTE about the ice cream... you can see what's on his mind.
Too cute! Most of what my daughter says is on point, but there are a few things she says that are a bit off, but I just go with it. I say, “Be free little ones!”
HA HA HA! My now 7yos has always LOVED the Statue of Liberty~like an obsession almost! Whenever he sees a pic he says, "That's my girl!" (((((HUGS))))) sandi
Just tell him she's like a lighthouse lighting the way for the lost...bringing light to the darkness. A giant night light!
Maybe it's her scary hat with the pointy things that look like daggers that bother him. ;)
Shoot, who wouldn't want to be holding a giant ice cream cone? That's some funny stuff!!
