They chip a tooth. (I think all the parent's in the world just gasped with and for me!)
Oh and of course during their fall, the tooth hits their lips/gums which causes it to bleed and bleed and then the crying comes. The crying doesn't stop and then you realize it's your mommy doing the crying and your son is off to the next adventure.
Ask DJ what happened and he proudly says: I fell and chipped my tooth when daddy was watching me.
And at that very moment, a sense of relief comes over me. It's not my fault that my son fell and chipped his tooth. It's daddy's fault because he was watching the kid.
Thanks DJ; you eased my pain and guilt. Please don't chip anymore teeth. If you decide to, please be sure to do it on daddy's watch. He can handle the sight of blood, I can't. Thanks.
Love, Mom

Rebecca did that too when she was little and ended up with a cap until the baby tooth fell out.
It doesn't always happen but keep an eye on it.
Oh, he's a toughie! Kids are lots more resilient than we think. And he does have Daddy's brave genes....

Blame daddy! I love it!
Lol, it was daddy's fault. Little kids crack me up when they hurt themselves, they scream for a few minutes then skiddadle off!
Don't want to be sounding like people are like animals or anything but my dog is like that, he's constantly running into something or hitting his head on furniture like it's nothing! *BAM* *scurries off*
Now you know I was able to bypass it with my girls but now that we are having a boy.... I am bracing myself! Poor DJ, I'm sure he'll be over it quickly.
Chipped teeth and broken bones are always a concern. Thank God, my daughter hasn't caught on to flying off bureaus or beds. Does DJ do that?
My son chipped one of his front teeth, and to this day "I" still don't know how that happened.
But a mothers kiss makes any boo-boo go away quickly.
BWAAAAHHHHHHH!
To funny!
It's funny to read about but I am sure it wasn't funny seeing blood coming out of your baby's mouth!
