He should know by now, we go on dates at least 3 times a month.
We have to. It's for our sanity. It makes us better parents. It makes us a better couple.
More than anything, kids can't get into bars so, we leave them home. Just kidding.

We try to prepare him. Nothing helps. He's fine until we're on the way out the door and all H breaks loose. I'm sure many people might think it's cruel to post photos of your kid crying, well, look away if a kid crying makes your heart break. Sorry grandma. Don't worry no kids were intentionally hurt during this event.
Daddy's kisses ALWAYS helps!
I promised to bring him something back. I gave him a pack of gum the next day. My son LOVES gum. You remember THIS!

I agree that date nights are essential even if the kids cry. My kids LOVE gum too.

Tanyetta: Yes, keep that photo for reference later! You reminded me of a friend I worked with who was so madly in love with his wife. He called her one day and said with the excitement of a teenager, "You know what? I want a date with you. Let's set it up". Enjoy! What a cute kiddo! He seems very happy!!!:)
What a sweet blog. I enjoyed reading it.. Beautiful family! Have a Great Weekend and God Bless you.
