There's a child care center on base that charges an hourly rate of $4. You don't have to be on official business to request daycare. It is on a first come, first served basis.
If you're in need of hourly child care and would like quality and reliable care, check with your local Military Installation. There are video cameras in each room and the child/teacher ratio is very low.
As you can see, DJ had a ball. He spent 4 hours in the child care center on base while mommy and daddy took care of business on base. We had to get our taxes done. After getting our taxes done, daddy had to get back to work and mommy needed to get some 'by herself' time. I went to the commissary and the exchange
Needless to say when it was time to pick DJ up, he didn't want to leave. Whatever happened to kids running up in your arms being so excited to see their parents? Well, it happened but, as soon as he found out he was leaving, all hell broke loose.
On our way out, we snapped a few shots with the Bunny Rabbit. (Better than standing in LONG LINES paying $$ at the mall of course)
Thank you for a great day!

Those are great pictures. I wold love it if they had that $4 anhour deal for civilians not on military base. That would be fantastic.
I have 4. only one runs to me when I get there. The other 3 - never. Actually a lil ticked off that I even thought of removing them from the fun. The nerve of me.
I feel the love.
(I love the on-base care, boys are too old for it now though. But I can just drop em off at the youth center. They outgrow one and into another - ha)
Look at him at the computer. I see you're getting him started early!
$4!! Wow!
Great pictures!
Of course he didn't want to leave, it's FUN!! way more fun than shopping with mommy, mine hate to grocery shop.
Too bad our military base is 2 hours away, that's a damn good deal yo'!
That's hilarious that after 4 hours he still wanted to stay in day care.
Having these kinds of reasonable resources makes your “me time” even more enjoyable!
