They're ALL winners in our book! (Toddlers playing on teams)

Look at DJ!

He was so excited about playing T-ball today.

The official sport: Itty Bitty T-ball
Their team name: The Yankees
Their coach: The most bravest and patient man on this planet.

Can you imagine coaching a group of kids under the age of 6? Especially when most of them have to go potty, get in a huddle to watch a ladybug in the grass, cry because they want to get another chance at the bat and more!

Did you know MILITARY families get fee waivers to become members of the Boys and Girls Club? Most of the programs are FREE for military families or very little out of pocket expenses. All you have to do is contact your local B&G club for more information.

I signed him up for T-Ball and I'm so glad I did. He LOVED it. The team starts at age 4 but, the coach said it was perfectly ok to sign him up. So, I did. The object of the game is teamwork and there are NO winners or losers. Awwwwww....and they all will receive a trophy at the end of the 8 games.

He looks so cute in his 'uniform' they won't receive an official shirt until game day. Which just happens to be this coming Saturday at 10am. I will have to refrain from jumping up and down yelling my son's name in a high octave level.

I just might have to stay home. I can see me now, running up and down the sidelines asking DJ if he has to go potty! HaHa.

Daddy was on hand to help out and to guide DJ through the running of bases, etc. He gave me the 'look' as if to say I was taking way too many photos and maybe I should just go sit down somewhere. LOL

After this video, I think it's safe to say Daddy has some work to do with helping DJ practice at home. I LOVED this so much. Look at him GO!
Ya'll stop laughing at my baby. He was trying so hard. Bless his heart.

My baby plays t-ball also and I have so much fun on Saturdays at their little games.

A made a video of him hitting his first ball and he barely let the bat go. We're still working on the base thing also.

How cute!!!

Question: Why would you feel you had to refrain from jumping up and down and yelling DJ's name during the game?!?!

Girl that's mommy motivation time right there...
It's a MUST!! :-)

P.S. Tell DJ I'll be rooting for him all the way from New York!!
