Question from a reader:
Shai has left a new comment on your post "They're ALL winners in our book! (Toddlers playing...":
Girl, you are SO busy with him. What do you do for Me-time?
This is an EXCELLENT question.
It's very true, I am always busy with my son. I take time for myself quite often but, I guess it's not often enough. Thank you Shai for shaking me up and reminding me that it's very important to take time for myself.
This weekend, I am planning on doing some fun stuff for ME. I'll keep you posted and thank you for checking up on me. Trust me, you're not the first one to nudge and remind me to do stuff for ME ;)
Question: To all the mommy's out there, what do you do for "Just YOU" time?

It's not so much a concern for me now that my children are getting older...
[The girls are going to be 18 and 19 and my son will be eight in the coming months] so ME time for me is pretty easy **I just don't advantage of it very often or according to the kids often enough**.
Most times they ALL wish I would just go somewhere/do something and just get outta their hair....
One would think that after all those hours of labor...all those sleepless night they would be just a wee bit more appreciative but noooooooo!!! [LOL]
What is "Me Time"? Hehehe? I used to read my books, and every other Sunday I used to go to the beauty place and get a manicure, pedicure and eyebrow wax.
After a few months of this, I am ashamed to say that I started feeling badly about it. I would grumble to myself that I am wasting money that could be used on something else and I stopped going. How lame is that?
My husband was the one pushing me and encouraging me to get some time by myself because he saw the good it did for me and ultimately it would benefit him *wink wink*
Ahhhh, this has to change. No wonder I am so burnt out.
I really don't have much "me" time as long as my son is in the house with me. I do however get those few opportunities to go to the store by myself but it's not the same. I have to figure out a routine for "me time".....
I'm getting my me time tonight. My mom asked could he spend the night (well actually he told me he ws staying over there) Can't go against mom can we. *shouting yes*. It's been a minute so I just plan to kick back and relax
