Thank you goes A LONG WAY!

I'm a firm believer in saying Thank you.

If my kids receive a gift, it is a given that they will send the person a thank you card.

I've done this with my daughter and now that my son is on the receiving end of gifts, I'm sure to do the same.

It doesn't cost a lot of money to send a card and it doesn't take a great deal of time to do it.

The person took the time to give my child a present, the least I can do is send them a card to say thank you. Saying Thank you is another way of teaching our kids to become great citizens of the world.

Here's a few tips:

Take a photo of your child with the present he/she received as a gift
Enclose it in a card (Target has an excellent selection of cards in the See.Spot.Save section)

If your child is too young to write, help them write their names and write a short message of thanks.

A simple thank you goes a long way
